The connecting tube replaces the source connection pipe where the catalytic converter is. The catalytic converter can not be mounted on the Akrapovic connecting pipe. Link pipes and connecting tube are connected with sleeve joints secured by metal tension springs, as is the connection between the tube Y-connection and the collector.
